Paint -

  • According to MIL-E-16400 governing Navy electronics equipment, the paint spec is MIL-E-15090 - Navy Formula No. 111 Semi-gloss DTM alkyd enamel matching FED-STD-595 color number 26307
  • See here for 26307 touch-up paint cans - Rustoleum Light Machine Gray is a fairly good match.
  • Note - 1945-52 equipment was a darker shade - probably color number 26152 - Rustoleum Dark Machine Gray is a fairly good match.
